Micro Volume Analysis – TrayCell

TrayCell is a fiber-optic ultra-micro cell designed for the UV/Vis ultra-volume analysis of DNA/RNA and protein samples.

The dimensions of the TrayCell are equivalent to the foot print of a standard hence it can work with most spectrophotometers in the market.

Advantages of using the TrayCell include:

  • Use of fiber-optic cables – allowing measuring of the sample directly on the surface of the optical window
  • Cap with mirror – provides a well-defined optical light pathand prevents the sample from drying up
  • Cell remains in the photometer during the filling and cleaning stages – guarantees a continuously identical position of the aperture in the light beam and no variation in comparison to the reference measurement
