While its ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) body material makes it just as lightweight as traditional tube racks, it also maintains a temperature of 4°C at room temperature for 4 hours without the need for ice supplements.

These test tube racks make use of a unique super-absorbent polymer coolant encased within the rack. This coolant helps to keep samples uniformly cooled. As such, it completely eliminates the need to spend time making ice cubes, as well as the mess caused by melted ice.
