Grant-bio DEN-600
Grant-bio DEN-600 is a combined densitometer and photometer. It is equipped with a 600nm-wavelength optical system. The sample compartment is designed to allow the use of standard 10mm-lightpath cuvettes, conical vials, round-bottomed tubes and 15ml conical tubes. Thus, it is an economical alternative to a spectrophotometer offering:
- OD600 for the estimation of number of cells
- McFarland (McF) method for measurement of turbidity
- Bradford protein assay method for measurement of protein concentration
Via USB connectivity, the software facilitates data transfer, data processing and calculation, software calibration for Bradford protein assay method or even customized calibration.
Powered by rechargeable battery, DEN-600 can be conveniently used in a biosafety cabinet or anaerobic chamber without having to fuss over electrical availability.
