The DEN-1 and DEN-1B Densitometers measure turbidity of cell suspensions in a variety of life science applications. They are factory calibrated to measure turbidity with a small standard deviation.
consist of the DEN-1 which is a base-model for routine uses, and the advanced DEN-1B version for more accurate measurements. They are designed to hold tubes with outer diameters of 18mm, although a 16mm adaptor (D16) is included as a standard.

- Factory calibrated to measure turbidity in the range of 0.5 to 4.0 McFarland units (DEN-1) and 0.0 to >7.5 McFarland units (DEN-1B) with a small standard deviation

- Display directly indicates reading in McFarland units
- Fast measurement time of 1 second with ±3% precision
